“Joseph, Justin and Robert were very professional and honest. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Outstanding job — left the house clean and fresh.”
A 100-amp panel was plenty in 1975. Your home today — central A/C, an EV charger, a dryer, a hot tub — is not a 1975 electrical load. We upgrade to 200-amp service, pull out the Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels insurers won't cover, and publish the prices nobody else will.

A lot of New Braunfels housing — anything off Common Street, the Loop 337 corridor, or out toward Canyon Lake built before 1985 — runs on panels designed decades before modern HVAC, EV chargers, and electric ranges existed.
If your panel has fewer than four open breaker slots and you're adding any significant load, get a load calculation done before something trips that doesn't untrip.
Get a Free Panel QuoteSome of these are convenience. Some are a fire risk. We'll tell you honestly which is which.
Frequent trips under normal load, or breakers warm to the touch, mean the panel is past what it can safely carry.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels are documented to fail to trip under overload. Insurers increasingly won't cover them.
EV charger, hot tub, shop, or a new HVAC system — all need headroom a full panel doesn't have. We size it first.
Or a fuse box instead of breakers. Both are signs the service was sized for a much smaller home than yours is now.
New Braunfels has plenty of housing built in the 1950s–1970s, and a meaningful share still has these panels. Justin finds one or two a year in Comal County. He explains what it is, gives a flat-rate replacement quote, and doesn't push. Most people replace it — and insurance carriers are increasingly refusing to renew coverage on homes that still have one. That's not a scare; it's a fact worth knowing before your policy comes up for renewal.
We're licensed for HVAC and electrical both. When your panel upgrade is really about adding an EV charger or a new A/C, we size the whole system together — the panel, the circuit, and the equipment load — instead of an electrician guessing at your A/C draw. One company, one flat-rate, no finger-pointing between trades.

“Moorhead came out same day when our AC quit in July. Fair price, zero upselling — the tech was super professional. These guys are the real deal.”
“Used Moorhead for a full electrical panel upgrade. Upfront about pricing, did the work cleanly, passed inspection first try. Will absolutely use them again.”
